Representative's Message

The aim of Lantern Pharmacy is to become a reliable and trusted pharmacy by the local community. We tailor our approach to the individual symptoms of each patient to support their health in the best way possible.

At the same time, we want to be a pharmacy that Vietnamese people can feel comfortable visiting regardless of their country of residence.

As a Vietnamese-Japanese born in Japan I have always wondered how to further connect Vietnam and Japan. After working in pharmaceutical development I developed a desire to contribute to society through healthcare and opening a pharmacy was a great step for this.

When volunteering as a medical interpreter I realized that a thick language barrier prevents many Vietnamese people from receiving high quality healthcare in Japan. Even after living in Japan for a long time many people do not know how the medical system works and are sometimes unable to receive high quality care and benefit from the system they are supposed to be able to enjoy. This has resulted in people handling medicine outside the system and is becoming a social problem.

In addition to the prescription acceptance and medication counseling, Lantern Pharmacy also provides a broad range of support to the local community such as medical interpretation in Vietnamese as well as general administrative support and document preparation for foreign residents. We support the physical and mental health of all patients through medical and medication consultation as well as interpretation and psychological counseling. Our pharmacy interior has been designed with space to allow people to open their hearts share their concerns as well as a place where everyone can feel at home. Since his time in the University Rugby club, the owner has always embraced the spirit of trying. With online consultation, Vietnamese medical interpretation and psychological counseling we aim to be a new kind of pharmacy. We strive to always innovate and challenge ourselves and in addition to helping each patient individually, we also aim to become the bridge that connects Japanese healthcare with the world.

03.INDIVIDUALITY

Each patient has their own symptoms and medical history. The effect of the same drug can vary depending on age, weight, height, lifestyle and other things such as allergies. At Lantern Pharmacy we carefully check the patients physical condition, confirm the safety and efficiency of the drug treatment and provide advice in advance to prevent side effects.
